I wasn't sure what I expected from this book. I guess I thought it would be a self-help book with some inspirational quotes. The narrative feels like a stream-of-consciousness, like choice phrases taken from the diary of someone who thinks about life quite often. About half way through I realized that the phrases are written like a poem. I'm assuming this was intentional because after I saw the formatting I began to read the phrases as you might read a poem at a poetry slam. Either way, it's an interesting concept with some interesting observations.

Lovely, poetic, spiritual, authentic book. Simple ideas for you to feel, to practise, to discover... and yet so powerful, that my life has dramatically changed (for spiritual, for awesome, for good!) since I first met Allan in the Camino de Santiago (2011) and got in touch with his Presence, Being & "Reality Compass", allowing me to navigate through Life in a more counscious, free & authentic way.

5 years afterwards (2016) I get the present of having such powerful & inspirative words written down in a kindle book, just when, staring at infinite crossroads, I'm again in need of that Inner Presence holding & guiding me through the worlds of Being and People...

Thanks so much, Allan. I'm carrying "The Story Between Us" to whatever Multiverse I may be going... for it has for me the key home <3

Master teacher Allan weaves an incredible story about me, you, us, and all. It is from our true being that we touch through all of our journeys! Thank you for this Allan!
I love this book. I plan to read it over and over again every so often as I grow to re-remember and gain new perspective in different situations I grow into in life. I like that the book is written with few words, but communicates big ideas with in the few words. This gives space for thought and time for understanding; the book has rapour for inner growth.
I read this book while walking the Camino de Santiago, after it was recommended by someone special. The more I progressed on El Camino the better I understood its content. Not only because I read it three times, but also because I directly experienced what was written. One of my favorite lines "Where we block awareness of pain we also cut the flow of love." Sounds vague? Not until I experienced the opposite Dropping my old armour suit and opening up for pain AND love. Beautiful, and life changing! Surely El Camino is the perfect setting to experiment and experience. But vague and poetic at first, this book turned into a practical guide for life. A big thanks to the beautiful 'being' who wrote this.
